1957 XL 900

Mr. H's Iron Sports has been converted to a rolling chassis and the engine has been fully assembled.

While the engine is still light, the engine is first mounted on the frame to check the frame and engine mount position.

As expected, the hole position of the front mounting plate did not match, so some corrections were made.

After checking the frame mount, the timing gear is fully assembled.

The cam gear timing alignment mark and the breather timing are aligned and assembled.

Even after assembling the timing gear, the engine runs smoothly without any strange tendencies.

The transmission is now fully assembled, but the shifter pawl mount screw has stripped, so full assembly will be postponed until next time.
