Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item upgrading is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who want to gain an advantage in combat but don't want burden their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are many ways to acquire them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrades at the upgrade items Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add an Best item upgrade that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available for it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade Tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade item component has been inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item upgrading.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Certain items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the level of the item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
