The Xplore has dual canopies which rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for the entire family. It has a smaller footwell than some wagons. This might not be suitable for long trips or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have the same flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight when folded. It is easy to move, however, and fits through doors with a width of 28 inches.

This basic double single stroller with bench seat from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and fold size which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels, as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but was nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or let them swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. While walking on the stony path, we let them swivel and it performed well, though it did appear a little bumpier than others on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It folds easily and fits into the boot of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we tried, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-constructed. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's easy to move, even when loaded with two children and a shopping bag.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for infants up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to use a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene, it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can be used from the infant's first days until. The canopy/seat features two large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't perfect because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.
