The sequel to the Supergiant Games 2020 roguelike Hades is expected to be released in the year 2019. It's an ambitious move that raises the stakes, while also offering deeper look into familial politics.

1. Hades 2 Technical Test

Hades 2 has more levels, enemies, voiced characters and key areas compared to the original. Participants in the technical test will not be able to carry their progress into the Early Access build. Supergiant plans to "reset the game from start" once it reaches Early Access, so no save data from the playtest will be transferred over.

The original Hades is an all-time classic. This sequel however, blows it away in almost every way. The roguelite is more detailed and a satisfying combat experience than before. It's an entirely realized game just waiting for a few final details to make it an absolute masterpiece.

Hades 2 is not only visually stunning and stunning, it also introduces new characters and features to the game that will make your experience more enjoyable and test you in ways you've never imagined. Alongside the new gods shades, items, and gods that populate the Underworld there's a wide array of items available to collect and upgrade via Incantations. This system of permanent upgrades can be found throughout every run. There's a lot of work to be done before the game can be released full release however, the studio has made it clear that it's keen to maximize player feedback and to continue to refine Hades 2 to a perfect state.

Supergiant is renowned for its ability to listen to its players, and Oscar Reys address any issues that arise. This is evident in how it dealt with the early access release of Hades 2 It's likely to be some time before the final version is released, but it already feels worthy of a spot on your gaming shelf alongside its predecessor.

3. Hades 2 Beta

You'll also have the ability to manage witchy frightened creatures, unravel secrets at the Arcana Altar, and gather agents that can boost your abilities.
