1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum Cleaner top 10 to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to detect objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with pictures of the objects that it encounters, so you can tell the robot to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best amazon vacuum robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it using your voice.

The design is also superior to the other models. It has a sleek, high-end piece that resembles a toy rather than the loud and annoying robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in its place rather than scattering it around the floor. It even could catch small gravel and sand which other robots aren't able to do. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs, the j7+ is still a solid option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner amazon vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. These machines are equipped with a water tank, so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not come with some of the premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an ideal choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies, which is a problem where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. The Q5+'s navigation system is also top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people, but it's one that can assist you in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart vacuum cleaner in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are among the most advanced available however it's expensive.

The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it automates many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the few robot vacuum cleaner review vacuums I've tested that do a really good job of cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of your home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want a robot vacuum that does everything.

However, if you're looking to save money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robot there are many other options available which include a variety of eufy models priced substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive however it comes with more features, including stair climbing and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard flooring, and mopping capabilities at an affordable price. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to a power outlet and enough space to allow it to move around however.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, meaning it is able to be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. The design is more modest than other models, sporting sleek black finishes and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in an arc for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and is more effective on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is, however is less expensive and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with heavy materials like cereal.
