3 Wheel Double Buggy

It can be used in 30 seating configurations and includes an integrated ride-on board that can be used for older kids who prefer walking as well as a 'cinema' seating mode which raises the back seat to improve visibility.

The phil&teds dots are great single buggys that are easily modified to accommodate two (or three!) in multiple configurations. This is particularly useful if you have a baby in your car. The frame can be adapted to a wedgie that allows for optimal lie-flat positioning. Or car seat adapters that work with a wide range of brands.

Suspension

The suspension of a double 3 wheel double pushchair-wheel buggy will determine the ease with which your child/children and you can push it. A smooth ride is vital since babies can feel every bump on the road, especially when it's on rough terrain such as grass or dirt roads. Some models also have locking front wheels to assist in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.

Certain models come with air-filled tyres which are ideal for all-terrain rides, but they are susceptible to punctures. Make sure you have an extra set of tyres in your trunk. If you're looking for something different, the Joie Evalite Duo is a lightweight buggy that can seat twins from birth (it's open to the world and features an upright position). The clever frame can be expanded to accommodate the additional seat but it still only weighs in at around 11kg, which makes it easy to lift and maneuver. It can also be used with a car seat or carrycot, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds and it can help you save money in the future as you don't need to purchase a new buggy right away.
